As a club that started off small and barely known around the Snow College Campus, we knew we had to come up with Goals and strategies to bring about awareness of our club and the black student population on campus to the students of the college. Here are some of these goals:
- To provide a supportive atmosphere to all students of African decent at Snow College.
- To create a social/educational interaction amongst the diverse black community and other communities at Snow College.
- To create a cultural exchange within Snow College.
- To promote positive race relations based on understanding and respect for human dignity.
- Unify black students on the Snow College campus and promote involvement in campus government.
- Provide a fun, sociable, and safe haven in which each member could take advantage of.
Real relationships among BSU members are formed early and last a lifetime. Both academic enrichment and social interaction are benefits of being part of the BSU community
